Privacy & cookie policy
This page explains what information is collected when you visit UniDoc Solutions, how it is used, and the choices available to you. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Who we are
UniDoc Solutions (www.unidocsolutions.co.uk) is published by CentraServe Ltd, an independent UK web publisher. The data controller for personal data processed via this site is CentraServe Ltd. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
We do not ask you to register or to submit personal details to read the site. Standard web‑server logs record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This is used only to operate and secure the site and to diagnose problems. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process the same technical data to serve and protect the website.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Analytics — we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (for example which models are popular). It sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf.
- Advertising — if and when Google AdSense is enabled, advertising supplied by Google AdSense and its partners may be displayed. These third parties may use cookies to serve and measure ads and, where enabled, to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Amazon Associates affiliate cookies — clicking one of our “View on Amazon UK” buttons sets cookies on amazon.co.uk that associate your subsequent activity on Amazon with our affiliate tag
unidocs-21for up to 24 hours. These cookies are set and controlled by Amazon, not by UniDoc Solutions. See Amazon’s cookie notice for details. - Functional — the contact form sets a short‑lived session token and (where enabled) Google reCAPTCHA cookies for spam prevention.
You can opt out of personalised Google advertising via Google Ads Settings, and you can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from reading the site.
Amazon Associates Programme
UniDoc Solutions is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate, UniDoc Solutions earns from qualifying purchases.
When you click one of our affiliate links and complete a qualifying purchase, Amazon pays UniDoc Solutions a commission. This commission is paid by Amazon, not by you — the price you pay is unaffected. Affiliate links do not influence our editorial recommendations or rankings. Where we link to a product we are clear about what we think of it, including where we would not recommend buying it.
The data processed by Amazon when you click through to amazon.co.uk is governed by Amazon’s own privacy notice and we have no access to your purchase, account or payment information.
Legal basis and your rights (UK GDPR)
Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Analytics, advertising and affiliate‑tracking cookies are used with your consent, indicated by your continued use of the site; you may withdraw consent at any time by clearing or blocking cookies or by using the opt‑out links above. You have the right to access, correct or erase personal data relating to you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Third parties
The third‑party services referenced above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Cloudflare and the Amazon Associates Programme) are independent controllers or processors with their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal data.
Contact form data
If you submit the contact form, the name, email address and message you provide are emailed to the site owner and stored in a server‑side log for back‑up. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and do not share it with third parties.
