Unidoc Solutions and Canon Therefore online partnership

United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, 5th March, 2012 - Canon, world-leader in imaging solutions has today announced the European availability of Therefore Online, a cloud-based version of its established Information Management software. Therefore Online is a new way for organisations to reliably and securely manage their documents and information. It requires no additional IT investment or management and is a fully scalable solution.

Therefore Online has already launched in UK, France, Finland and the Netherlands, with further launches expected in Norway and Belgium in March.

Therefore Online offers customers a flexible business model whereby they pay on a month-by-month basis. For customers this means there are no large upfront costs or on-going IT overheads, helping to reduce CAPEX and provide a clear total cost of ownership. No additional IT infrastructure is required as the software is hosted and accessed via the internet.

Therefore Online ensures business continuity as customer data is backed-up in real time. Verizons enterprise cloud solution was selected as the underlying platform to host its Therefore Online application in one of Verizons high-performance SAS 70 Type II-compliant* cloud centres.
